Long Acres Farm is here to provide your family a hands-on and fun farm experience. 

Horseback riding, hiking, harvesting your own food, and animal interactions await you on a private visit or by joining one of our camps.

Located in beautiful Alamance County, North Carolina, we are a 52-acre horse farm offering outdoor, farm-based experiences for people from all walks of life. Horses, cows, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, dogs and cats will greet you as you enjoy a hands-on, up close experience with nature.

Long Acres Farm Camp

Summer Day Camp at Long Acres Farm includes all the best there is to experience at the farm! Farm free play, animal interactions, daily horseback riding, group games, crafts, and more await children at camps over the summer and throughout the year.

After-School Care

Daily farm responsibilities, “free range” child-led play time, and homework support from a licensed K-6 teacher. Fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, learning new skills, practicing crafts, and organized games are among some of the additional pastimes children enjoy weekly.
